Handmade Leather Bags

Introducing

From my workshop at Grandey’s Place I hand make bags and satchels to order from high quality vegetable tanned leather. Every item is bespoke and individually made to suit the customer’s needs - you choose the size, the style and the colour. For each project I personally select all of the leather, along with the leather I use only the best linen thread to hand stitch every part.

I use only traditional methods in my workshop - hand cutting, hand stitching and hand finishing of each stage.

Taking inspiration from the rich history of British craftsmanship in leather, every care is taken to produce a classic, beautifully crafted, practical and unique bag that will stand the test of time.

Craft Spotlight

One Day Belt Making Course

This one day course is designed to introduce the beginner to leathercraft by learning how to make a handmade leather belt. The course is hands on from the start, you will learn about cutting, marking, stamping, hand stitching and finishing the leather so that you go home with a belt that you have made yourself totally by hand. The course will also give you the chance to meet some new people - or why not come along with a group of friends or colleagues. There will be a maximum of four students per course so I can dedicate more of my time to help you get the most out of your day.
