Grandey's Place Summer Open Day
Published on Mon 19 Jul 2021 at 00:00
We are having our first open days at Grandey’s Place Studios on 16th/17thJuly 10 - 4 and look forward to welcoming you to this new heritage craft centre in your village.
The craftsmen will be there to show you their studios. There’s stained glass, letter carving, antique horology, furniture design, tailoring, violin restoration, sculpture, floristry, upholstery, millinery, fabric design, leatherwork, dressmaking, corsetry, ceramics, mosaic and a baker - with talks, demonstrations and also refreshments. Several of the craftsmen will soon be running courses at Grandey’s and this is a perfect opportunity to have a close look at what’s on offer.
It’s also going to be the first chance to see a mosaic of Hertfordshire animals and birds that a group of local friends has been working on since early last year.
Because there isn’t much parking we’re doing a system of free ticketing and dividing each day into three two-hour slots. The free tickets are available by clicking on this link 'eventbrite' This means that there will be lots of space so everyone feels relaxed. Walkers and cyclists don’t need to pre-book.
It would be lovely to see you.
With best wishes from all the craftsmen, Grandey’s Place, Warren Park, Green Tye, SG10 6FF
