The Heritage Crafts Summer Open Day @ Grandey’s Place
Since Grandey’s Place was founded seven years ago, its artists and makers have become synonymous with Great British craftsmanship. Our craftspeople have completed prestigious commissions for the Royal Family, Westminster Abbey, the Royal Albert Hall and more, and had their work featured in film and on TV and on the Paris catwalk.
Join us for our annual Open day on Sunday 28th June, 10am-4pm, when we will be throwing open the doors of our beautifully appointed studios and workshops and inviting you to enter our world of exceptional crafts and heritage crafts.
We invite you to tour the site at your own pace, meet our master artists and makers, and learn about their specialisms including STAINED GLASS MAKING & CONSERVATION · CERAMICS & SCULPTURAL CERAMICS · MILLINERY · CORSET MAKING · BESPOKE FLORISTRY · WATCHMAKING · ORCHESTRAL STRINGED INSTRUMENT RESTORATION · HERITAGE KNITWEAR · METALWORK and MORE!
PLEASE NOTE: Parking spaces MUST be booked in advance. Choose from one of two heritage craft sessions from 10am to 12.45pm or 1.15pm to 4pm. If you choose the morning slot, please be sure to vacate Grandey's Place by 12.45pm sharp to make room for our afternoon visitors.
If you're coming by public transport, taxi, on foot or by bike, there is no need to book and there are no time restrictions; just turn up when you like within opening hours.
Light refreshments including sourdough breads, pastries and hot and cold drinks, will be available to purchase from our on-site Heritage Grains bakery, Micro Bakery.
